GROWING RESILIENCE & PREVENTING BURNOUT
More than surviving, we are THRIVING!
***Morning session only***
The SEIU labor movement is resilient—and so are we. Explore how resilience weaves through your personal life, your union, and your broader community. This workshop provides tools to stay grounded and connected, helping you overcome difficulties associated with burnout and to continue thriving in the labor movement. (MORNING: CANTONESE INTERPRETATION AVAILABLE)

BUILDING AN API CAUCUS
When we unite, we rise in power!
You’ve talked to a few other API members at your local, but how can you turn those connections into a strong union group that makes a difference in our communities? This workshop is to help guide API members and staff in building an API Caucus at your local.

NAVIGATING TODAY’S POLITICAL CLIMATE
Cut through the chaos and find hope.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, isolated, confused, or scared by the actions of the current administration? That's by design! Learn how the constant attacks are intended to make us feel powerless, and how we as API leaders can help build a strong union that reconnects us, brings clarity, and allows us to build our collective power.
(AFTERNOON: MANDARIN INTERPRETATION AVAILABLE)
(MORNING: KOREAN INTERPRETATION AVAILABLE)

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & WORK
Make sure technology works for everyone!
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer in the distant future – it's here and it's reshaping work across our industries from transportation, healthcare to education. This workshop brings together workers’ experiences and AI experts to cut through the hype and provide a clear, grounded understanding of what AI really means for workers. We'll hear directly from people on the job who are encountering AI in their work alongside with expert insights on how these systems work (and don’t work). Together we’ll explore how workers can respond, organize, and shape the role of AI in the future of work.

THE POWER OF DIGITAL STORYTELLING
Make our voices seen and heard!
We can be the change we need. The fight is online – and we’re bringing the POWER! Join the Unions For All Digital Network to learn how storytelling, strategy, and our many voices can shift the narrative and build worker power.

CONFRONTING CLIMATE CHAOS
Protect our communities and save the future!
It’s now or never – our API communities have a rich history of confronting the impacts of climate change and mobilizing to take action. This workshop will use an environmental justice lens to lift up member stories and identify ways we can all help make a difference for our communities and our planet.
(AFTERNOON: CANTONESE INTERPRETATION AVAILABLE)
(MORNING: KOREAN INTERPRETATION AVAILABLE)

UNIONS & API HISTORY IN EDUCATION
Build solidarity and share our legacy of activism!
This workshop highlights how unions addressed anti-Asian hate and violence in a proactive, empowering way through education and community building. Centering education in this way not only empowered API students to see themselves reflected in the curriculum but also built understanding and solidarity across communities. Explore how collective action and union power can transform classrooms, strengthen communities, and create a legacy of inclusion and belonging.(AFTERNOON: KOREAN INTERPRETATION AVAILABLE)

BEYOND THE MODEL MINORITY MYTH
See through the deception and fight back!
Over the past decade the right has successfully messaged many racist, anti-immigrant, and anti-union policies to our Asian communities. This workshop aims to equip us with the knowledge and skills to identify the extremist forces targeting our people and to figure out the issues that can win back our communities. Participants will learn how to identify strategies used to trick API communities, and how we can unite to fight back.
(MORNING: CANTONESE INTERPRETATION AVAILABLE)
(AFTERNOON: KOREAN INTERPRETATION AVAILABLE)

ICE OUT OF API COMMUNITIES
Know Your Rights and Resist!
ICE is targeting our API communities. This workshop will cover what your rights are if ICE visits your workplace or community, as well as a bystander training so you can take safe and effective action to assist people impacted by ICE enforcement. Together, we can resist ICE and demand our rights, learn ways to volunteer to answer people’s immigration related questions, and learn how to support those incarcerated in ICE detention.  (MORNING: MANDARIN INTERPRETATION AVAILABLE)

MISINFORMATION & WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT
Stand strong against attempts to divide us!
Learn about the insidious nature of misinformation and how it is used to deliberately take away our voices. In this workshop, you will build skills to help you identify misinformation so that we can take back our power. By coming together around truth and justice, we can work for collective prosperity through our union.
(MORNING: MANDARIN INTERPRETATION AVAILABLE)
(AFTERNOON: CANTONESE INTERPRETATION AVAILABLE)

THE POWER OF MY STORY
Use your voice to build union strength!
***Afternoon session only***
Part of the “Model Minority Myth” says we as APIs are quiet and don’t rock the boat. But we know that’s not true – and our stories are the source of our power! Learn how to be a messenger for change and use your voice to move our communities and allies toward action. (AFTERNOON: MANDARIN INTERPRETATION AVAILABLE)
