Transportation from MSP Airport (Terminal 1 or 2) to Summit Hotel:
There is no complimentary hotel shuttle

By Rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc.) – 20–25 minutes

  • Follow airport signs to the Rideshare Pick-Up Area.

    • From Terminal 1: Ground Transportation Center (1 level below departures).

    • From Terminal 2: Ground Transportation Center (Level 1, Green/Gold Parking).

By Light Rail – 30 minutes

  • Follow airport signs to Light Rail Transit (Blue Line).

  • Take the Blue Line toward Downtown Minneapolis from either
    Terminal 1 or 2.

  • Get off at Nicollet Mall Station.

  • Walk 6 minutes to the Royal Sonesta Minneapolis.

George Floyd Memorial  (Rideshare)
George Floyd Square is a memorial at the Minneapolis intersection where George Floyd was murdered by police in May 2020.  Community members turned the site into a protected space with barricades, artwork, and community events to honor Floyd and to continue the protest movement.
